I know that title sounds strange, but supportive beverages do indeed exist.
Take tea, for instance. People often dispense it when someone has had a shock, or trauma. not Because it contains medical properties, but because drinking tea is a normal thing to do. Everyone drinks - not necessarily tea. It might be coffee etc.
I often drink Ovaltine, as I find it comforting and warming. Herbal teas are quite popular- there’s peppermint for digestive issues and Lavender to help with sleep, to name but two.
obviously I’m no doctor and I’d check with a medical professional if you’re unsure about such things.
however, it’s still a very interesting subject.
